Glove Fetishist

Gloves

“Because a Lady can never have too many pairs of gloves.”

I grew up being told I had beautiful hands. At fourteen years of age I was passionate about all things Victorian, and purchased my first pair of kid gloves with buttons. I loved the feel of the skin-tight leather across my knuckles, the way they framed my long fingers and elegant palms. A fetishist was born.

By nineteen years of age I had inherited my first vintage glove collection. They all fit perfectly; my fate was sealed. I continued to seek out, acquire, and inherit with a passion.

Today the glove closet consists of leather and patent leather, opera-length, elbow-length and wrist-length. With buttons, with beads, with zippers and without. Red, black, and ivory, kid and lambskin leather, satin, lace, vintage and modern.
